If not, we wont be able to control boost with the XEDE and smiles will be turned upside down

I got the wastegate springs covered, but did not know anything about the pill. Good to know now.

I recommend a later time if you are having problems. That way some of the guys can give you some assistance if the problem isn't solved by the dyno day.

it's up to you. jeremy and i are suggesting that you show up early. maybe, between the collective minds of all the evo owners there, the people that run the dyno/repair shop and shiv, we may figure something out. but unless you show up, we can't diagnose your car's problem on the internet easily.

Go to a Grainger catalog and order a $7.00 boost gauge. That way you have another one to compare too. I am actually running my $7 gauge over my Defi until I find one that is accurate.

Or bring it down to Salem this weekend to my friends shop and we will fix it.

This is a different pill than the one that Vishnu instructs to remove when installing the Xede, right? I remember removing one that didn't seem to be related to the wastegate. I assume that if I haven't removed the pill in the wastegate line it'd be ok for future tuning?

Shiv is talking about the pill before the "T" off the compressor and not the one off the boost solenoid that we remove for the XEDE.
