Question

On all the "look what tire/wheels fit my car" posts people always forget to list the wheels off set, it's one of the most important parts of a tire/wheel combo.

This is not really a rant, just trying to make people aware.

They do look good though!

Offset is 40mm front and rear. The fronts do require an 8mm spacer.

18" are a little big for my taste, but the black on silver looks good.

need more offset in the front to clear the big calipers, stock offset is 38, but not all wheels are created equal and some need more offset to clear the calipers.

hmmm, maybe its 45 front / 38 rear... when you space that much (8mm) do you need to replace the bolts? i heard you shouldnt space more than 3mm without changing the studs/bolts.

I believe it says in his sig. that he has JIC coilovers. Looks PIMP Kyle, where did you get your corner balance/alignment done? I bet it feels like a gokart with that wide of tires.

I went to Fordall motorsports for the suspension alignment and corner balancing. They set it up with -2.3 degrees camber in the front, and -2.0 in the rear. Total weight for the car is 3364 including driver and near a full tank of gas, about 60/40 front to rear weight distrubution. Left and right are dead even. The camber adjustment also helps to get the room needed for the tires. About 15 seconds per lap off the pace of a kart, but getting there.
