I'm a little excited because I should recieve my Dyno Flashed ECU today!!!!! Any one here in the NW forum have a Dyno Flashed ECU? If there are enough of us maybe we can get Al to come out and do some custom tunes for us.

 

With that flash you should be in the 12's now. I just have the basic mail in flash like you. I would love to have Al come out here and get a custom tune but I don't know if enough people would be interested...
Didn't notice you had cams...are those recent add ons?

 

Yes the cams are recent, I have not been to the track with them. Also new since my last track outhing is a SAFC II for fine tuning on the dyno when I get the flash, a 3" down pipe instead of the 2 3/4" DP and a fuel pump.

How's the idle and drivability with the 272's, I'm looking at getting cammed as well? You should be moving down the track now! I saw you a couple days ago or last week, I was going the opposite direction down Cornell Rd on the North side of Hwy 26. Can't miss that wingless White Evo with Gold Piaa's

 

The idle is a little rough, but not to bad for my taste, I've had worse.
Also the Dyno Flash might help.

 

went to slc this spring and had a custom tune. I already had a dynoflash mail in. the gains weren't as much as I would have liked, but seems to pull a little harder after 5k than before the custom tune. the guys that were there that did not have any flash were much more impressed than I was after the tune. don't take this the wrong way as al has a great product and I am happy that I have it, just that once you do the mail in, the custom isn't as much bang for the buck in my opinion.....

 

I am very happy with mine but if I had it to do again I would just have done the mail in. It would have sved some time, money, and hassle.
