my .02...I had a mail-in flash and did the custom road tune in march in slc.
not worth the money. I couldn't detect any real gains and al's comments were that the car was dialed in well to begin with. he didn't do but a minor adjustment.
al has a great product, but the mail-in seems to be dialed in so well, no reason to do a custom tune. I wish(hindsight) that I would have just stayed in Boise and put the cash toward a full standalone.
it would appear that a custom tune would be warranted for someone running meth/gt35 or some other large hp car, but most of them are going full standalone.
downside as well..if you upgrade again, you are just going back to a mail-in again...
again, my .02 and don't get me wrong, al has a wonderful product
, but he has done so many now, that a mail in seems to be as effective as a custom tune..

I was able to get a hold of Al with Dynoflash this afternoon. His schedule would be open for a visit to the Northwest either late October or Early November if we can round up enough people that want the custom tune. He is going to chime in on our thread in the next few days.
Who's still interested in late October/early November???
I certainly am!

You don't get all your money back.(BTW - its been used about 5 times now out of 2,000 plus tunes I have sold in two plus years)
If you get a CUSTOM tune - if your not hapy at end of tune with test drive I uninstall the tune and refund your money - (never happened to date) - you pay nothing
If you get a base flash - through the mail and are not happy - WITHIN 2 weeks only - I refund 100% of your money less shipping costs (has happend 5 times - most of the cases were trying to get refunds over a year afterwards)
How about 2nd week in November ?
I need 5 guys
$375 each for a full custom road tune with my new 10 channel data logging system and a print out of all tuning parameters before and after
$299 for existing customer retune same as above
$175 for base flashes installed on location with quick road tune
$650 for Evo Ecutek tune
$100 deposit to paypal@dynoflash.com to hold a spot
ONLY THOSE with deposits pick a spot
NOTE- I spend a full 2 hours on each car which is how long it takes to do a perfect job - I can only tune 6 cars - 7 cars per day this way but IMHO is better than trying to sqeeze in 12 or 13 cars ion one mad dyno day
November 12
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Chris P. (Deposit Paid)
12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
ONLY Those who have a deposit may reserve a time slot - first come first served on these spots
Thanks - hopefully we can get the 5 guys I need

understand, but I believe that your policy is that the dynoflash is transferrable. I do not expect you to give me a refund and not looking for one. I have been very happy with the flash and think that you have a great product, just going in a diff route. I have read and have seen you post that the flash that I purchased is "transferrable" to another user as long as i get my ecu reflashed to stock, then assign the flash to another user, they can get their ecu flashed. this is normally done through the mail, just thought if you are going to be out and someone needs a base flash, it saves us all the postage, and you the time to ship. should be a quick process to reflash my ecu to stock and then set them up.....
btw, I paid for not only a ttm flash, but had a custom tune done in utah when you came in march.

I do NOT allow people to do these "transfers" when I am paying significant $ to travel to a remote location as I funding my travel expenses to come and sell products and tune cars. Generally, in these cases people who are seeking to "transfer" will solicte my customers by PM or at the event and I wind up loosing sales which was not the original intent.
I think I should have thought the program through further when I originally proposed it. The dollars and cents just do not add up - however - now that i have offered it I have to leave it in effect I think.
I have had several people who have transfered dyno flash ecus this way.
Has anyone ever though to just give away a flash to a buddy ? The shipping costs are going to cost you $75 total which leaves you with a nice $125 gift
Perhaps if you want to discuss the resale program further you can PM me
BTW - anyother ill advised program is the RENTAL car reibursement program which pays up to $20 of the cost of a rental car while your ecu is being flashed - only ONE guy has used that program so i am going to can that one I think

I also figured that maybe the one that wants to "take" my ttm flash might also pay the diff to get the custom road tune, thereby making you cash as well and we all come out winners. I understand what you are posting above and as a businessman, need to pay for travel costs.. I will solicit my ttm flash on the for sale section when the time comes in november.
