So it's an overboost issue( guy got it tuned at P3) prior owner didn't tell me to much about the car other then the mods and nothing has been changed too much, well now I know and if anyone can help with lowering the boost level without a boost gauge or EBC let me know, Buddlight, thanks for the tip about napa an shucks
Well, if you have an MBC under the hood you could just turn it down a couple of turns. Its been really cold lately, that may have led to your issues. You really need to get it tuned by someone that is not a local tuner......
What mods are on the car anyways?

She is pretty much stock with injen piping lower/upper HKS Bov ss ( working properly thank god) and stage one clutch that was installed unknown company but plan on replacing it when I get back from the up coming deployment, as well as a few other things. And air/fuel and boost over all had the most focus out of the tune on her.
I've got a red X, could have been me. Half the time I never see people wave. Be up on Friday possibly to sell mine and buy a 9.
I'm up for a winter meet; Especially if it's motor sports related.
I've spent some time in Homer recently. The local lake has frozen over and I already see cars out there sliding around. I hear races will begin soon.
This would be a great venue for the Evo. Anyone interested?
PS. To the Evo X I saw in town recently:
Too bad you were either too distracted or too conceded to wave back.

If you want to run be there by 1000-1030am. If you are interested in watching we start practice at 1100am with the first race starting around noon.
If you go to the South Port Marina at Big Lake (just outside of Houston) there will be some signs showing you the entrance to the lake and you can't really miss the track. There will be a main ice road running on the lake and if you stay on that road for about a couple of football fields you will see a bunch of cars on the right running in circles.
Hope to see ya out there! I won't be running my Evo, I'll be running my Focs.
