can i ever win lol,
ok ill ask again but who the hell wants to get a meet going. idc when but i want a meet to happen with at least 6 of us, although from the looks of it there is only like 4 main posters on the thread and im going to assume at least 5-6 more that just view it. so who wants to get it going,
and ill be having a BBQ at my place this weekend. if you wanna come and hang out its BYOB and family/girlfriends are welcome, (this way we can talk about car related stuff and BS while they have something to do other then watch kids)
can have 3 crash at my place.

hey I am looking to buy a stock evo 8 or 9 turbo and evo 8 cams. let me know if you guys have some stock turbos or evo 8 cams sitting around.
btw I am down with a meet and my buddy as well but its still too cold.

i hate waiting for stuff, Its like you expect it and it never shows up until youve forgot about it and then its like xmas all over again.......anyone else get that feeling while waiting for parts??..or is that just me???
and tell him congrats on the find......was it an unabused VIII or does it have some "tasteful" mods done.....assuming since your asking for parts not to many which is a good sign........

I have cams laying around, and I'm pretty sure I have a turbo lying around.

Ill be waiting at least another year before the cams go in. Buy then my turbo should be completely burnt out, it's starting to do what your dom 2 did. I don't understand how though, but I'll be putting the stock rom back on tomorrow,
Why would you load the stock rom back on? You'd be worse off considering it runs a **** load of timing, plus you're modded. Turbo's fail dude...pull the intake off and check the turbo for shaft play.

By all means I wasn't saying it was you, I know they fail and I wouldn't blame you if it is to fail, I don't want you to think that that's how it is, come on now, your nice enough to help me with what I don't know or let me use your garage for a few hours, about that though....I was wondering if you wanted to install the Walbro with install kit and the FMIC, tackle both at the same time.

I have a 06 Evo 9. My car has developed a clunk/pop sound in the driver side wheel well area. I have heard it on the passenger side before but it dominates the driver side more so. It's temperamental and chooses when it wants to do it. I mostly hear it while turning and going over speed bumps. Some posts say it's the strut bearings, while others disagree. Has anyone locally experienced this same problem and fixed it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. It's annoying as hell.

Mine does this w/ the stock bilsteins and to tell you the truth, I use alittle WD-40 on the springs (where they bind) every so often and noise goes away. I'll do a permanent fix when I have to break into that area.
