Worth a try. There might be that someone who decides to get some FAST body kit conversion...

Any Evos besides mine hating this cold weather? Mine froze at work Sunday night and hasn't moved since. Tried jumping it last night to no avail. Now the battery won't even hold a charge, I swear I hear it crying for my 75 degree garage lol.

I don't think the aggressive cams work too well in the winter weather up here.

Spotted a blue evo 8 (custom plates) at Aurora towing yard today, didn't know if it was anyone's from here or just a random impounded car.

Yeah I would zero out the mivec in the 0-1500 rpms and 0-100 load cells. And add some timing in the same area.

Might have to try that. Got the battery tested & charged at Shucks, it's fine. Put it back in but won't crank, think I may have burned the starter up last week.

I'm having a similar problem right now. It wouldnt start so I went and bought a brand new battery after realizing the one I had was really low and wouldn't jump start. Put the new battery in and still won't start. I cranks and acts like it wants to turn over but it never does.

Yup it's the starter. Anyone got a spare one laying around? Dealer wants $600 for a new one, ak electric will rebuild for $400 and Schucks wants $130. Anyone have any experience with Schucks starters?
