Yea 2.3.....pathetic. They didn't spray water on the left side so i didn't have to worry about water, but yea after doing more research it appears i need to launch that turbo/clutch combo much higher. I never leave off 2-step but i may have too. I had some pretty good knock on the 1st run too so were digging into that as well.

I tried 2-step when OpenECU first came out for the Evos.

I soon learned that I didn't need it.

I may try tephra mod and play around with launch control and flat foot shifting. Last yr i made a few passes on that turbo and had lower 60ft, switch clutch n now i might as well drive it out like a stop light.

on the black it will help get it spooling up a little faster, using the 2 step. Might as well try it and see if you like it better.

All the hard work paid off. Car ran like a top at Tanacross, had fast time of day by almost 4 seconds.

Car is a handful now, third gear the car will kick out and go right where I point it.

Got this in the mail today, looks cleaner already. Its only $20 for rear wiper plug. And takes about 5 min to install.
