Smokedmustang, just read your thread and it sounds exactly like my issue. So to some up your thread everything was a direct result of your coils being to loose. I will retighten them tonight and hit you back up if It works or not. Your running the twin power. what do you think of it. All of this trouble has sparked "get it" an intrest in me to completly rework my ignition system.

Hey Michael, that is my problem in a nutshell. My coils would lose contact with my plugs and I would lose spark at high RPM for a millisecond causing the misfire! Again, I have had this problem for over a year, and that is the reason I bought the HKS DLI II in the first place! To rid me of my high RPM misfire issues. I like the twinpower, it gives more of a clean burn throughout the RPM band, you will like it also. Did you strip the bolts on the coil packs? be careful when you tighted them down!!! That metal is soft, so I would tighted the bolts when the car is cool. Good Luck, and keep us posted!!!!

My year long+ problem was finally solved!!!! Not saying this is your problem, but I have been fighting the "plug" gremlin for longer than enyone I know, and I explain on that thread why the PLUG issue clears up, and comes back. Hope it solves your problem. its food for thought anyway!
Here's the link to the "I hear a "clunking" from my glove box!!!???" thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=177451

Too bad the thread didn't exist when I was trying to track down my gremlin, 'cause repeated searches kept coming up with very little that applied to my particular situation, and until this problem raised it's ugly head nothing had ever been touched under the hood - was still 100% stock.

Thanks, smokedmustang!

Hope it helps somebody else from having to go through what I did:
2 months of hair-pulling frustration, service manual searches & diagnostic / spec testing, repeated dealer & performance shop visits, contacting every 4G63 owner I could for their $.02, etc.
