Definitely talk to nickracer9. He's a sharp guy. Ask him about his experience w/ HKS 280's too .

I can get an AEM setup for you if you go that route, which I would highly recomend over a UTEC. The UTEC cars I've driven (note that doesn't mean tuned, I've never played around with one) had tip in throtle issues. Aside from that the AEM is much more flexible and it's large number of configurable outputs come in very handy, especially if you plan on running meth injection and want safety incase of a component failure.

I would stay away form the bigger cams unless you are willing to give up a good chunk of torque from idle all the way up to 4k rpm. efixmr and i have both tried them, and while they do make gains in the upper rpm's they are minimal and not worth the torque sacrificed. everyone swears by them, but don't know what they are missing from a set of 264/272's or some of these higher lift cams. I would hold off for a while to see results from cams(with good lift) like revolver, piper tomei etc. these cams judging by there specs can give you gains across the board w/o any give and takes. that added lift is a good thing! let me know if you need any help with aem. nick.

thanks, well i guess that i will stay with the smaller cams. thanks for all of the advice and i will let you guys know what i end up with. i think though im going to get 272s, works throttle body, 20g-9, fmic, should have it by the end of the month. i just dont know if i want to have al just tune the car in march or if i want a AEM b/c the custom tune will only be 200 and aem is like 1300. and get all of the other stuff i dont think that i will have enough left over.

I should be able to dyno the revolver cams shortly...still working on my tune first though. It's getting closer to being ready. I did a baseline before the AEM and any tuning as well.

+1 The revolver cams have really good promise from what I've seen so far!
