trubo kit is great. im so glad that i went with the 35r instead of a 30r or 20g. the slow boy mani is by far the best looking imo. i know its the strogest. shoot! cast steel or tubular steel? i think cast wins out . i think i need to do somemore fine tuning and think 450 awp at 25-26 psi on race gas is doable.

You may want to talk to your tuner before you remove the balance shafts. The engine is going to make more noise w/o them. This may fool your knock sensor and retard your timing.

my car didn't make any extra knock noise from removing the balance shafts according to my logs. you will notice a tiny bit more vibration through the pedals and steering wheel. its not a very fun job also.

I was wondering who installed your cams because it has alot to do with the balance shafts, and ive heard from two local tuners that they are seeing alot of the balance shafts out of phase on evos from others installs.

my car guy has been doing dsm's long before i even knew what one was. shoot hes probably been doing longer than youve been alive. its not impossible that he screwed up, but its highly unlikely. its most likly due to the reving the car to 8k all time. those shafts are spinning at lights speed when the revs are at 7-8k.
