cam install help

hey guys im going to be putting in 280's and a gt30r turbo kit this week. i was wondering if there are any locals that have done cams that would be willing to maybe help me out. im not going to start taking it apart until i think wed. then im going to take my time and try to finish it by sun or mon. i would be willing to pay someone to help with the cams b/c i dont ahve a torque wrench so i need to use someone elses. thanks mike

I've done a few cam installs, though I'm not sure if I'll have time to help out this week, perhaps the next week. There are some other guys that are pretty knowledgable around here too.

do it on ft. lewis our auto centerhas all the necessary tools. hope you have a timing belt tensioner tool. its not gonna be much fun to do this with out one. if you have it should be a 4 to 5 hour job tops

ya i got one. i have a bunch of tools just not a torque wrench plus i want ot do the turbo kit and tranny fluid, oil change, dif fluid, bushing kit and a few other parts so its a few days work.

i could help with it just bring it to ft. lewis and drop her off on thursday and i can start on it. should be done on sunday. just pay for the shop time plus throw a lil chunk my way..LOL! + plus all fluids of corse

i will through some money your way if you come to my house b/c the map i have is for the 280 and 30r the car wont drive from bass to my house. plus i want to do a lot of it i just want some extra hands and eyes.
