I'm meeting Towlie tonight for the flash

BTW you have them for 5 speed, right? I'm used to VW's where they have different chips for 5 or 6 speed cars.

Sounds great! So after you improperly strap the car to the dyno, melt the bumper, promise to pay for repairs, and then don't make good for six months...

I was at the dyno day on February 18th and frankly i'd love to get on the rollers some time, but to see the way that the situation with Jim's bumper got handled makes me incredibly reticent to want to be on the rollers at torque freaks.

In the case of flashes, if you can't strap the car right, and you can't take care of your customers when things are damaged (even accidentally) how does that make a potential customer feel when you are talking about tuning their car?

Why are you even in this thread anyway? I was under the impression that Towelie & JohnBradley were advertising a service here? I wouldn't even bring any of this up if you were advertising your services in your own thread, but frankly when you screw one friend and then thread crap another friend's thread, I am unwilling to stand idly by.

It also dawns on me that some in this thread think there is only one flash available from us. Tisk Tisk, what sad days are these that passing ruffians may see NEE!! to old women.

EDIT- For the record, I am not advertising. I am merely trying to answer some questions and shed light on some incorrect data.

Okay, you must have missed the initial and incorrectly placed thread where this was for sale. I listed my qualifications. I have tuned, not just worked on, but tuned pretty much everything with wheels for longer than I have had a drivers license. Ever wonder what Al did before he started flashing cars? You have nothing to contribute to this conversation so kindly stay out of it.

Incorrect on two matters.
First this tuner in question has experience, second; TQF dyno waiver specifically states that they wont pay more than $100 for damage that occurs on their dyno.

Need we get into this again Jim? I thought this was considered dropped. As a business owner I decided when to give refunds and when not to. Speaking of which just today I did to a member of this very board on something that I felt we were at fault at and he was conpensated for his understanding, and willingness to work. I actually was thinking about out of the blue sending you something, but yet again.....look what gets drug up and kicked like a dead horse again.

slugs- I'm a vendor. I get to offer my services on this forum. I'd agree my posting etiquette is a bit off here, but then so is advertising for free when people like me pay to keep this forum up and running. So I frankly if you can't handle a vendor posting, then kindly skip over it, and don't use their services. Somewhat similar to overlooking popups. Freedom of choice. As for the the bumper..if thats the worst that I've done, then I'm guilty as charged. This was resolved by both parties, for better or worse. See above paragraph

Again not advertising, just trying to correct some misinformation. We didnt start this thread nor did we ask for it to be started. TF1, I dont know you but this isnt anyway personal, please report facts correctly. I had a thread removed for violating the rules. I am not offering anything but answers to this gentleman and anyone elses questions.
