Please go out and vote people! I would cry the day I would have to drill holes in my bumper to mount a front plate. Besides, Washington needs to spend money on other things, i.e. streets, debt, etc. since the government is raising taxes all the time.

Yea! If you know any other car forum might want to know this info, please post it, the more people go to vote, the more chance we will get this initiative pass.

the house bill (HB 3189) died. That is the reason it's being raised as a voter initiative.

its funny seeing this thread now as i just got home and while driving down my local road i noticed a police car parked in the usual spot out in the open where you could see him coming or going. i was doing 50 in a 45 and looked in my rear view and saw a blue evo behind me not speeding because i know he saw the police also. i noticed he didnt have his front plate on and i said to myself i,ll bet my house he gets pulled over and sure as **** as soon as the evo passed him the officer came out and pulled him over. theres no doubt in my mind he was pulled over for the missing plate. When i see the evo again i,m going to ask him if he got the ticket.

i wonder if there is something out in California like this... it is rediculous to have a front plate... it's a waste of metal and paint IMHO...
