I dont think he's breaking any rule...he's using the 26 alphabets of the English language and is infact, forming a series of words to make a sentence. Although the 2nd point may not be done well, he is trying to do it.

If he should be banned for "mistakes" then that little string of Kanji in my signature should be a sure sign of me getting banned.

That is obviously not the point of this thread. He is just sick of people pointing out his grammatical mistakes when a larger point is trying to be made. Wouldn't you get sick of people calling you out about how you hair looks awful when you are trying to tell them something?

To the people arguing: just try to understand his point of view. He's not here to debate.

Yes. Deaf = you learn the language of American Sign Language. Read up on it to find that the grammar is completely different from English.

I wasn't aware of this obviously. So you can't read proper grammar, nor write proper grammar, because your main form of communication has a different structure to it.

There are 'Exceptions' to most rules (Forum Rules #8)....as he mentioned to all...English is his second language...a difficult one at that considering being deaf and not being able to associate how a word sounds (tone, emphasis, intonation & you get my point) when using it in a sentence. This and other factors I can only imagine, as I am not deaf, would affect his grammer and other sentence related mistakes....give him a break and stop arguing the mute point that all posts need to be written in 'proper' english....as another member said....most of us would be banned or have our posts deleted if this was truly enforced.....

Chris I don't know you but respect you immensely......enjoy this forum!

You know who your friends are, and can always tell the honest ones from the jerks that you don't know. We are all here for you and to learn from you.

So I guess all those millions of people that know multiple languages can't spell or do anything about it? Give me a break, all this thread is a cry for support and bad mouthing DSM owners for stupid reasons. OMG all of these people are nice to me except for DSM people, but yet I'm going to talk **** and all of my e-thug friends are going to back me up too.

I used to work for a translation/interpretation company and there is an unbelievable amount of people that speak/write mulitiple languages without any problems, asl included. Our whole target market was ESL/ELL/SE schools and hospitals with native speakers.
