I am in the process of having my head put together with new springs and retainers and 280 cams. And i will need a Tune at the end of this week. Any Tuner information around the everett/seattle area. Please give me some tuners!

What 280's? HKS, Comp, GSC. etc. ?

If they are Brian Crowers you need cam gears to get the lobecenters back to where they should be otherwise you will shorten the powerband and probably lose power.

Look uglyevo i was just gonna help this guy out, it wasn't you asking for help so keep your mouth shut, no one asked or cares what you have to say unless it pertains to this guys post. this is the very reason i dont post anything here on this forum b/c of people like you. Hey, johnbradley usualy knows what hes talking about, i go to the boat here soon so maybe he would be the guy to hook up with. i was just gonna give you a tune that would smooth out your idle and make your car run smooth until you could get more detailed tuned.

 

I think Ugly is just watching out for the guy. There are a good chunk of people that have recieved bad tunes from people that say they can tune so mostly people only trust that guys with a good reputation and clientel such as Lucas, John, TF (when they were in business ), and some of the others.

 

I know john, thats who i was going to refer him to for a good detailed tune.

 

Obviously you have some pent up anger and hate based upon your response to my simple question. You went way overboard with your post. I was just asking a relevant question to you since you do never post you have no reputation and no one here seems to be willing to vouch for you and your tuning abilities. Like dbsears said I was just looking out for someone. So how exactly does that make me a know it all? How is that considered flaming you? How do you know that no one cares what I have to say?

 

its aimed toward the way u asked the question. I mean does it really matter who i am? and i wasnt pointing all of that to you, its just that if you post any question or relevant answer people should not make you feel stupid for it, that being said ive posted before and every time i have its been that way, or noobs asking questions get hit hard for not knowing as much as the other. ANYWAYS, I wasn't trying to make drama just needed to vent i guess, sorry. By the way I'm one of those guys that has researched alot on the whole spectrum of tuning, im by no means a the best or even close, but im not new to tuning evo's i just dont charge money to do it, I like to help people with their cars, you know what I mean?

 

Okay guys now that youre all lovey dovey, try to keep this thread on topic? As far as "end of the week" if you can wait till sunday there is the dyno day going on. Not to speak for anyone but since not all the cars are being tuned while there there might be enough of a break for someone to take a look at it that would be in the know. I wont be able to attend as I have family business to take care of this weekend.
