poulsbo mitsu to close in 90 days

sound to me like mitsu is getting ready to bounce out of the US which means all you guys whom purchased the new evo are going to be holding a 30 thousand dollars for an evo x with no wrrnty now this is purely speculation but look at the writing on the wall the only mitsu dealer left is korum some of the guys i used to work with at mt. mitsu are there and they are getting moved to the old mitsu building to be away from hyundai hopefully this one dealer will hold on for everyones sake just a heads up anyone who has a modded car and is still under wrrnty (that has not been flagged that means) can come see me in poulsbo im all about trying to help you out especially since in the end it wont really affect us so thats 90 days all modded cars welcome ask for Luis if your out of wrrnty and still wanna come through you r more then welcome if im not there im at illtech ask for dawn in service drop my name and tell her you need in asap.

I've looked trust me...STI's are just not doing it for me in the looks or performance department. Do yourself a favor though and buy a stock evo that is owned by somebody a little older. Because trying to deal with mitsu when something goes wrong is a NIGHTMARE.

another one bites the dust..........i was at auburn mitsu the other day, and the salesperson and i talked about this..he said "dont worry, we've been here for years. the owner was the first to bring mitsubishi to the states. we'll be here for a long time." hopefully he's not BSing.

and no...i will never get a subaru!!! at least not the sti...

Renton went away a while back. I'm sort of glad poulsbo is going out, but now I'm going to to have to travel pretty far for any warranty(haha)/service work if need be required.

Bruce Titus Mitsubishi down here in Olympia is still around and I don't see them leaving anytime soon since they aren't a Mitsu only dealership...

Mitsubishi is not going to 'bounce out of the US'. I know there is talk about them not making enough money and what not, but shutdown distribution in an entire country? I think this 'scare' is quite a bit premature. I think you're right in that it's purely speculation. I wouldn't worry about it actually happening any time soon. They're making more than enough on the regular Lancers, SUV's and even the Eclipses to make that a horrible decision for them to even consider.
