I've looked trust me...STI's are just not doing it for me in the looks or performance department. Do yourself a favor though and buy a stock evo that is owned by somebody a little older. Because trying to deal with mitsu when something goes wrong is a NIGHTMARE.
another one bites the dust..........i was at auburn mitsu the other day, and the salesperson and i talked about this..he said "dont worry, we've been here for years. the owner was the first to bring mitsubishi to the states. we'll be here for a long time." hopefully he's not BSing.
and no...i will never get a subaru!!! at least not the sti...

Renton went away a while back. I'm sort of glad poulsbo is going out, but now I'm going to to have to travel pretty far for any warranty(haha)/service work if need be required.

Mitsubishi is not going to 'bounce out of the US'. I know there is talk about them not making enough money and what not, but shutdown distribution in an entire country? I think this 'scare' is quite a bit premature. I think you're right in that it's purely speculation. I wouldn't worry about it actually happening any time soon. They're making more than enough on the regular Lancers, SUV's and even the Eclipses to make that a horrible decision for them to even consider.
