Mitsubishi product strategist Shinichi Kurihara said at press event in Japan last week that if the automaker's newest vehicles don't sell well in the United States, the automaker might not be able to stay in the country. Kurihara said the vehicles like the Outlander, Lancer, and Eclipse have to "be successful for us to stay in business in the U.S." In recent years, Mitsubishi has seen sales and revenue fall considerably.

anybody watching the inflation of the foreign exchange market will understand the danger that companies such as mitsu cherry and other car companies are facing mitsu recently invested 39 mill in a company at the beginning of june that fell 39.4 percent in the first week and in the last day has fell an additional 19.4 percent now i have already lost my cache cow in the wa. area and have been looking to relocate but the more i investigate the more i think i should just switch lines to toyota or honda hopefully mitsu pulls through i have always enjoyed working on the car line and would love to continue but with dealers dropping all across the US not just washington due to economy and oil price i personally fear the worst

Yep, seems as if we are sticking around...if anything our parts sales would keep us in the game, but car sales is what its about and the sales department in our Mitsubishi/Chry/Jeep building has had some issues they are striving to fix. Trust me -- its an issue every Friday in our manager meetings, but its a work in progress.

I wish Mitsu would offer some reconciliation for people that bought their Evo's new, and are watching their warranties close down.... This is getting rediculous.
