I own an yellow evo8 I my battery died I charged it and drove it again but the battery drain had the alt. Tested not charging but I noticed the 100 a Alt fuse on the positive terminal is blown could this be the cause and where can I get that fuse locally I want to try changing the fuse before I take it to the shop is there a shop with a quick turnaround this is my daily driver help

 

there alot auto shop like schucks, auto zone, car quest, napa they have alot fuse buss kits...

also u see blew metal stripe on fuse it mean need new.. if it dont it fine.. i amused ur alt or charger system are gone bad... possible battery..

u have subwoofer or sound stereo system on it?

 

went to schucks no dice on the fuse its a stock setup 100a Alt fuse on the positive terminal any other options looked at the fuse its blown I hope this it I will look around tomorrow my Evo is under warranty thru national and they cover the alternator

 

alrighty.. if u can change it yourself.. go part dept mitsu and buy it it cheaper..
