I did on my Lotus Esprit Turbo. LOVED THEM.

Would not hesitate to use them on the EVO.

Would suggest the R4s pads though... little more road comfortable.

Enjoy your braking.

I ran porterfields on my car for track only (dont remember the compound).
and wasnt too happy with them. Very noisy, and gunked up the rotors.
They did stop well though.

The next season I ran PFC97s for the track, and Hawk HPS for the street.
Both were excellent for their intended use.

I'm using Pagid RS29 front, Ferodo DS2500 rear. These Pagids are an enduro pad and won't produce the most brake torque but are very rotor friendly. PF97s supposedly work great as do Hawk (HT10 I think), and many others. I've heard good and not so good regarding the Porterfields, a lot of BMW E30 Pro3 guys race with them, so they must be decent. I have no personal experience with them. Also, there have been some brake pad threads in the motor sports section.

PF97's for track use. Great place to start for a real race pad.
