Here's some more results to think about: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...91oct-e85.html
2psi less boost but more power...gains everywhere and damn near identical spool. Take a close look at his boost curve...don't expect that with an MBC...Mind you this is as much power as most 100oct Green's make on that dyno...also remember a stock IX puts down about 220-230whp on that dyno...

I wouldn't pull the trigger until you see results on every turbo....so far pump the BBK seems to be leading the way with the most useable powerband. This is what gets you out of corners.

Pretty good results with very little mods and about the mildest cam you can get...also on one of the lowest reading dyno's in the westcoast...
Those tests were also done above 27psi and 100oct.

Be interesting to see how this plays out in the end .
seriously! I'm tryin to switch over to the ECU based BC but no one locally is doing it and it kinda scares me off.

Plus I have no cash as I just bought new wheels and I still need to buy the 3 port solenoid and 3 bar MAP.

atleast if i get an IAT with those other two I can run Speed Density and Ecu base BC!!!!

that'll be a fun BOV'n time hahahah

OH! and I was planning on testing out the Tomei till i decided I wanted to do the O2 Dump and Exhaust mani at the same time and needed more money. That's why wheels were purchased instead ツ

Just because nobody local is doing doesn't make it bad...that just makes them uninformed. I switched and will never touch another MBC again...yes its more difficult to tune but the results are rewarding. Looks at what the Cali tuners have achieved. They put out alot of evos on 3ports that make good power. It is just plain better...mbc are old news.

the green = lame
bbk = knock off red that has not lived up to its potential
the red = seems pretty damn cool on e85 or race gas
the white w/ 6.5 wheels = the pimp ****!

Its not that no one local isnt doing them. We have, but they seem to be less than predictable. There a few cars that I have done that work well, others that are either on or off. I think a good EBC is still a better option since it maths out the same by the time you buy everything you need and then have someone set it up.

How is the BBK a knockoff being a completely difference manufacture with different sized wheels and a totally different purpose?

Billy just talks sometimes hahaha

I don't think he meant knock off, more of a competitor. We will see what he really says though.

and Billy, for when you read this, what is EDR? I don't even know lol

and Aaron, what kind of EBC would you recommend?

i heard from friends the tomei gather torque at the low down range
so it will be easier for you if u are looking for low psi
and they spool very quickly
plus the turbo look damn beautiful...
