Okay... last stages today.
2 stages out, Service and then 3 stages out and END. About 100 Stage Miles.
So far, ACP has fallen back, Andi has taken over the 3rd spot.
Ken Block has returned for today as well and taken the first two stage wins of the day. If they leave those wins in the competitive column (They will likely remove those wins from the points), that shakes up the points standings a bit but as of right now, it looks as if ACP might be relegated to a 4th place finish.
I'm waiting to hear but ACP lost about a minute on the last stage... Sounds like a flat to me.
I'll find out.

UPDATE: The time lost by ACP on the past couple stages is due to the failure of their braking system. As in, they got none!
They were able to patch it together in between the stages and finished fairly well on the next, but were not confident to push the braking system to hard. They are in service trying to repair the situation and are promising a hard charge for the final 3 stages.
good luck, guys!

Okay, final results are in and it exciting right down to the last minute.
Travis took first with a great, aggressive drive.
Tanner ALMOST gave 2nd to Andi when he struck a rock just a touch from the end of the very last stage. somehow, he spun off the gigantic rock and managed to get it straightened out and back under power in a nearly fluid maneuver that didn't cost him to much time.
Andi, took third in another EVO. Great drive for this team.
ACP took fourth after suffering from both flats and failing breaks but held on to take the position making it Subaru 1st with 5 hungry EVOs in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th places.
Not a bad showing for Mitsubishi
Great job guys!

the rally was amazing! last stage of the day on sunday almost every car came through with some damage. both of foust's bumpers were ****ed up when he came flying through at the end.
and poor Davies, didn't even make it in his talon. that car was pretty quick, he did awesome at the Olympus rally. i guess he had an oil leak problem, and didn't want to run the last stage or he would have killed his motor. he went around asking everyone if they had oil so he could finish the stage atleast, not a single person had any. too bad we weren't at the start, we had plenty of oil.
we ended up catching up to him on the freeway on the way home that night. we pulled up next to him and held an oil jug out the window next to him. he was honking and laughing at us, it was some good times!

This was posted by Malcom's navvie on SS:
Our car, 223, had a bad oil leak that we discovered after the floor getting VERY hot. We got out at the start of the last stage to see if anything obvious was going on and Malcolm noticed oil dripping at a fast rate. We decided that it would be safer to not run. Didn't want the car catching on fire. We also didn't want to burn up the engine. If we could have finished in 2nd in class if we could have just made it to the end. Oh well.
Funny thing on the way back to Seattle. We were being passed by a truck and the window rolled down. A couple hands held out a gallon of oil. THANKS! I could tell they were part of the rally with the wrist bands. Too funny.
Good fun.
