Official Oregon Trail Rally Thread

May 15-17
LOCATION | Portland, OR

The rally begins at the Portland International Raceway, with the cars whizzing around the tarmac track and the gravel perimeter. However, the majority of the rally takes place on old logging roads that run through the lush woods just west of Portland through the towns of Hillsboro and Vernonia.

Who is going? Where are you staying? Who are you excited to see?

If you guys missed the Olympus Rally you really missed out, don't let both north west national rallys pass you by.

i'm heading out again to this one too! just got confirmation from work today that i get saturday off. i'll be missing friday night, but oh well. just head straight down from work again on friday so i'm there all weekend.

i'm stoked to meet up with Pastrana again. he was really chill to hang out with. i don't even know where to stay out there yet. haven't planned too much as of yet. but i know we're planning on rallying down there with more people this time. for more opportunity for pictures!

Strange that with only a month left to go, there is ZERO competitor information out there. I have no idea what we are going to have to pay for entry, what the scheduling is, etc....

So unlike the ORG.

all the places i've called have been like mass expensive it seems like. well atleast compared to our prices here. not sure if they have a big price difference from us or what, it just seems somewhat expensive for a basic motel to stay in hah. oh well...it's all worth it. the rally is going to be awesome.

yeah i tried the one you mentioned earlier to see if they had anything, they had one, but it was smoking. i don't even wanna be in a smoking room haha.

but we found something that was decently priced actually. around $60 a night. but everything else is just wow, high priced. i'm glad we found something haha.

Jump on the $60 room...

But if you want a crazy drunk fest stay in the smoking room. What ever hotel we end up staying in is usually the most fun hotel!

endless beer + Matt Johnson and Pat Moro + swing bikes = best time ever
