.020...not 20mm (though that would rock)

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TURN THE CRANK

They are nitrided and if you turn it the crank is useless and will start to destroy bearings. I would check the oil pump to make sure its not hosed, either because it seized and caused the issue or failed after the oil problem. The material from bearings needs to go somewhere so take it apart (or have it taken apart) and inspected internally.

What shop?

I'm having vtr do the build, ive had them do work on all my cars so i trust them wholly. the kit from ams comes with a new oil and water pump. i was wondering if we would be able to set up a dyno tune appointment at drift office once they get it done? we are gonna have dom put a base tune on it when its complete and i would prefer to drive as little as possible until you guys can get your hands on it.

Yeah, when its ready we can get it done. The tune that is on the car isnt going to change that much so unless its getting larger than stock injectors at the same time it doesnt need a baseflash. Just break the car in, 50-150 miles, and let us know.

What up dude!?

Your 9 is going to be sickly fast after all that

You're definitely going to need some new Toyo's when you're done. Provided it ever rains here again

Should have gotten a 2.4, rather than stroke it, last longer.

I wouldnt even bother putting the BCs in. They wont make any more power than stock cams. The valvesprings like to break as well. I guess its time for another "BC sucks and this is why" thread.

This is a BC after 12k-

I did exactly everything I did to the stock valvesprings (8300 ALOT, 8700 once or twice).

BC 272 IX cams make less power than stock. We took out a set and picked up 35whp and alot better powerband. Couple all of this to the fact BC has horrible customer service and it leads me to my belief they are the worst thing to put in any car.

....and Derek called it. S1 or S2 and either GSC Beehives or the FP. I personally use the GSC S2 cams and FP beehive springs.
