I am not the only person to say that they dont work. AMS, GST, Buschur, there are alot of companies that know not to use them. Its easy to use parts (such as you mentioned) when they are the only supplier or they give them to you for free.

They refused to warranty my valvesprings just to let you know.

I didn't see a lot of knocking parts for knocking parts sake, Sass. I saw advice being given and some examples being shown. I think we all want to see you back on the road as soon as possible and for as long as possible, buddy. I hope everything works out!

Here is one car no changes besides GSC S2 instead of BC272 on a IX. Boost plot is wavy (and therefore the power) because it has the TurboXS/Nintendo controller. This is Justin's to be clear. This is something I had promised to put in here and never did. I know the controversy is already over but I am sharing for the rest of the class that might have read this and wondered where the midgets proof was.

The boost jumps 1psi at 5200-5600 because of the controller, but if you look at peak power its obvious the boost is the same. The powerband has been shifted more to the right while still making more low end torque.

well to each there own not everyone gets the crappy quality control parts, to be honest man, yea some parts break as long as manufacturers pony up and warranty it out then its all good. To be honest man im running bc springs/retainers, currently have hks 272 cams, am havin them swapped with some gsc s2 cams and there no tick lifters....my engine was rebuilt by a reputable company in socal, so far 20+k miles on my built engine shifting fine between 7500-8000 rpms, so I would say ya some people have bad luck on some parts failing prematurely. I have heard that about crower cams though not making that kinda power, but if your goin with springs and retainers might as well go with a cam thatll make more power on your setup now and when you decide to upgrade later.

Brian Crower resolved my warranty issues and that chapter is closed permanently.

Tyler had someone build the motor, it failed, we rebuilt it. It now has S2s and made 400whp on pump on a stock turbo, the only 92 octane stock turbo car we have ever built that did that. In a somewhat ironic twist it has the old 2.0L block and head from my car. This thread needs locked.

Damn, I came close. 375whp, completely stock Mivec and IX turbo on pump. Looks like Ill need to disregard my tuners advice and get some S2's.
