Well, it's finally getting to that time where I am going to be replacing my existing CF hood that's cracked (Seibon) with another. I remember a while back seeing posts of local people making hoods etc, but not really having luck finding them. Besides that though, I'm looking for recommendations from other local guys who have something other than a Seibon hood. I was thinking Robispec but not entirely sure they are still around.....

Thoughts?

I have a mint Robi hood sitting in my garage. It has the aero pins installed by Robi. You might be able to talk me out of it, but only if the price is extremely right.

 

i have a chargspeed cf hood but its painted tb. is your hood oem style?

 

If you are tired of carbon, I will be selling my GG OEM IX hood soon. 40k miles, paints in excellent condition.

 

No mine has the vents on the side of the main vent as well.

LOL I'm sure you'll want a pretty penny for it.

You know I might keep this in mind. I'm not tired of the CF hood, I love having it; but I don't want to have another one that messes up in fit and finish like this one did.....

 

Offtopic but when/where you get the Chargespeed CF hood? Is it 1x1 weave oem look? I tried getting one a few years back, ended up taking a year, never got it bla bla ended up with the last hks kansai cf. Does it fit like a glove (like the kansai)? If it's the 1x1 oem version the OP should buy this one

 

matte finished look u wont have to worry about cracking, but ive seen one in person and it looks cheap or ricerish because the entire car has clear coat to make it shiny after a good cawash and the hood is dull and flat
