If this is the attitude and dedication that comes from the shop is it really a big deal to drive a few hours?

I could see saying that about Full Function, but damn, its right there.

i believe dedication and customer service is Key is all areas especially cars and retail
to me this is well worth the drive, even if it wasnt the best tune in the country (IMO it is) the customer service would keep me coming
Thanks Lucas and Aaron

kitos is where i had my car dyno tuned, it is a decent facility and kito is a pretty cool guy. my only gripe was how low their dyno reads.

Yeah I would rather say I had 500 hp on a mustang dyno than 575 on a dynojet.

That would be great if its an honest Mustang, Dyno Dynamics, DynaPack, etc. Problem is the number is not necessarily comparable to even another of the same model. Least a Dynojet on Std Correction (independent of air conditions which are the only correction factor) will read the same if its here, florida, the sahara or antarctica.

I can go to a Mustang and make 500 and then throw it on ours and make less if its not honest. I can tell you all about a local Dyno Dynamics that reads 9% HIGHER than our Dynojet.

Dynos are primarily tools for tuning.

Yeah that may be true, just every dyno dynamic dyno I have seen reads far higher than any mustang I have seen, seems like just pumping the numbers to look better.

Kinda like fluffing before your porno scene, girls love it, and it makes you feel bigger.

But then again, hell, what do I know, I don't tune for a living, I will take your word on it.

lol@fluffing. It is simply how the inertia-based dyno (dynojet) reads. As Aaron states, uncorrected it will give you the same value, other than environmental variables at play.

Wow, thats professional of you, glad to hear that a VENDOR is truly professional... espeically since you've never blown up an engine (I bet your perfect). What a great way to show your true colors by putting down another shop.

^ what are you talking about? He just said you can manipulate the #'s of a Mustang or DynoDynamics and you can't on a DJ. Whats so unprofessional about that?

dont bother that dom guy has a streak of terrable tunes to evos with his so called "dom tunes" he takes Aaron's tunes and tweaks them and then calls them his own. he hates evos anyway, he kept insulting mine while working on it and his prices are rediculoius! I will never set foot in his place again! He set my friends 06 MR 2 step to 6100rpm for no reason and he just blew his motor too, I have no doubt that this so called dom tune guy contributed to it with his rediculious tunes. If i were u id stay away, he's a subaru guy that hates evos anyway
So you took your car to a guy that doesn't like tuning Evo's knowing that he doesn't like tuning Evo's, but you took it there anyways? He set the two step to high... so why not take it back and ask to have it readjusted? Also because he blew his motor doesn't mean it was directly from the tune. I bet he drove the car hard just like everyone else on this fourm. You bring down the engine life when you run your cars hard simple as that, not even the best tuner with the parts car with stand a brutal beating. Take some responsiblity for your actions.

Thieves? Don't you think thats a lil rough considering that people on the Open Source fourms share maps all the time for people to use?
