NP. What Aaron said just now. I should also note (without calling names) that other ex vendor was never welcome back to the NW once ECUFlash/EvoScan/Mitsulogger came out. The mere fact ER has grown since then speaks volume for their work.

Looks like he also knows how to build a good engine..
This might not be what you meant and I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt here, but a tuner should never blow an engine. That will be something a customer does because of neglect or abuse.

Mitsubishis and Subarus (Honda is a little trickier) have very good tuner feedback so I dont have to blow up a motor to know where the edge is. My car makes 574whp on a stock bottom end on pumpgas and has since april. I put it through its paces 7-8 times a week and it still hasnt blown up. It doesnt even knock (knocklight is set at 3) when I get on it. I agree that a blown engine can be completely unrelated to a tune. Meth pumps can fail, wastegate lines can drop off, but the sign of a good tuner is preparing for some of these contingencies. It still doesnt have to be a total failure situation just cause crap isnt going right.

I think you might be surprised how many company's are on the Open Source forums. Think of the comparison this way: for example I take a photo then you take my same photo and slightly change things on it... then that photo is yours based off of mine right. Would that make you a thief? I wouldn't consider you a thief. Plus I don't you can legally own/ copyright a tune can you, since its a mathematical equation? Similar to camshafts you can't copyright or own those. How is that considered stealing, if anything I would be flattered that someone thought my tune was good enough to use.
BTW, your photo example is the definition of stealing (copyright infringement to be exact). All my professional photographer friends would sue for stuff like that.

HAHAHA there is so much BS in this post its redic!

I would really like to know who this EVOFACE kid is! I think Aaron already guessed right. That's kinda sad that someone has to make a fake profile just to defend themselves.

Well since my schedule and internet access have changed some I wont be responding to any posts until 630 or 700. His accusation of me not having answers yesterday fell right in the same timeframe where I was otherwise detained.

Don't worry Aaron - we'll keep an eye on things! I was just commenting that he doesn't seem to want to communicate when you shove logic in his face. Sounds like a beeatch to me!

I took my car to Dom for a tune a long time ago. The car was barely drivable, and was running super rich. After he tuned it when i would open her up to WOT it would cut out and run like crap, and that was the second attempt at tuning. On here i heard about a place called English Racing and gave them a call. Lucas sounded very knowledgeable about not only Evos but the 4g63 period. After talking to Lucas for a few minutes and describing my problems to him, I opted to make the drive to Vancouver and let him have a go. 1 week later I make the return trip to pick up my car. I wasn't expecting alot, just to run right. Lucas told me about what problems he found and what he fixed, everything he had to do. I get in and drive away, from the start I notice a difference. My gf is in my Saab 9-3 aero. Now the aero is no slouch, after Dom's first tune it could keep up, then after the second tune I couldn't attempt it as it would cut out. When we were getting onto the freeway I told her to try to keep up, and even let her get a bit of a jump. I dropped it to 4th and hit that gas peddle as hard to the floor as I could. I blew by her so fast and was gone that it wasn't even funny.

There was no new parts on the car, I made the drive and left my car for a week to get a good tune and that was all. At this time I will NEVER let anyone in the PNW tune my car besides Lucas and Aaron. I have never had problems with a tune from them, and don't forsee having one in the future. As far as I'm concerned taking your car to anyone else for tuning would be the biggest folly you could make.

Oh and Aaron, you dont need to defend yourself. your defense is all the smiling evo owners driving all over.

now for you whoever you are, dont come on our forums with ur subi drivin **** and flame on one of the premier Evo shops in the country. you are on here to do nothing else as you created your account in Aug and have 0 posts other than this thread. so basically.. Get the F out. Oh I will voice and say my opinion anywhere I damn well please as that is my constitutional right, you dont like it refer to above statement and GTFO. Oh and FTMFW also.
