I did not know he hated Mitsu's until in the middle of driving mine. I'm just done with that shop. Its my car and I will do so as I please. Everyone is entitled to do what ever with there cars. Tylers car blew up yes, directly to Dom's tune??? I have no idea, I have no proof of that so I apoligize for bashing his business.

Umm well I went to see who was qualified at tuning Evo's around here, I did a search and found this thread. It basically is full of people praising English Racing for their tunes (which is fine). Theres really nothing else mentioned about anyone else in the area that can besides dom which everyone seems to insult and there was a quick mention about EAT.

Then I noticed a VENDOR of all people being very unprofessional acting like their **** doesn't stink, so I called them out on it. I have ***** and just proved it and I don't believe I have talked any **** yet.

Thieves? Don't you think thats a lil rough considering that people on the Open Source fourms share maps all the time for people to use?
I don't think he realized he would bash on his car before he went there. You mentioned unprofessionalism in a previous quote. It is highly unprofessional to bash on your paying customer's personal property based on your own opinion.

I don't think the term thieves is too rough. You can't compare an open source forum where a bunch of DIY'ers are helping each other out to a company that is charging people for their tunes. That would be like comparing a labeled band charging money for music to some indie band that is giving their stuff away for free to get their name out.

To respect Mo I won't start name calling, but that is one of the most uninformed comparison's I've ever heard.

It just seems like people are so quick to blame it on the tune, when in reality they just don't understand it (not saying that I do), but with anything you have to think about it logically. Well I was shifting my car at 9k and maybe it was the constant abuse that broke the car... not the tune. Sounds like you just had a bad experience all together, which sucks.

What was he saying that is considering bashing? Was it **** you **** your evo, you should drive this pile off a cliff, or was it f'ing evos never want to do "x" right when I tune them, or "part a" never works right with these evos why would you buy this?

I think you might be surprised how many company's are on the Open Source forums. Think of the comparison this way: for example I take a photo then you take my same photo and slightly change things on it... then that photo is yours based off of mine right. Would that make you a thief? I wouldn't consider you a thief. Plus I don't you can legally own/ copyright a tune can you, since its a mathematical equation? Similar to camshafts you can't copyright or own those. How is that considered stealing, if anything I would be flattered that someone thought my tune was good enough to use.

I would be pissed if i worked my *** off on a tune for someone, just to have another person pull that tune and use it on other cars to make personal profit. While you can't "copywrite" a tune, this has more to do with morals and business ethics, both of witch are obviously lacking.

I don't know how Dom bashed it - ask Mo. Mo is a pretty easy going guy though (to say the least) so if he was put off by it I imagine it was at least constant.

Okay, you are retarded. Your example of if I would be a thief if I took your photo and changed it and called that photo mine is a horrible example. Yes, I would be a thief if I took your photo, changed it, and then CHARGED MONEY for it. That is what I have heard Dom has done. Do I know that personally? Absolutely not, but if he has done that then he is a thief.

Your example is especially bad because there are lots of copyright laws in place regarding photography and when you take photos to Kinkos, Walmart, whatever to be printed there are disclaimers as such regarding printing someone else's photography that you don't have the license to.

I'm sure there is no legality issue regarding copyrighting a tune but a better analogy would be comics and their material. If comic a comes up with a joke and then comic b tells that same joke, maybe with some changed variables (but ultimately the same) then comic b is labled a thief, or at least labled as "stealing jokes." There is no copyright on the spoken material, per se, but the fact remains that comic b is stealing comic a's joke. It is not seen as "flattery" and in fact the majority of the comic community bashes comic b, along with fans of comic a, or fans of comedy in general.

*edit - comic meaning comedian. LOL
