what kind of tires did you get?
I was going to get the blizzak ws60 but got convinced to get the yokohama w drive. Has anyone driven on the yokos?

 

I got Yokos right now, and I've been up and down the mountain a couple times with it. No problems. No chains either.

 

Thanks I'm excited now. Its my 1st winter with the evo and also winter tires. I usually drive the lude with all seasons

 

i got the general altimax artics, i searched around and read reviews for a while and this tire is one of the best and is cheapier than the 200 performance ones. It is rated 5stars!

 

Blizzak LM-22's for me, got them on clearance for about $120 ea.

Winter tires are overrated, AWD and knowing how to drive in the snow and ice is all Ýou need.

If winter tires are needed, studs are the only way, this comes from a lot of tire experience, toyo observes, and blizzaks suck on ice and packed snow.

I agree, any place in Monroe is good, Albertson's is a little easier and more of a straight shot to 2 than Safeway but either way.

I would much rather go early and be out sooner, but night skiing is a little cheaper.

^^ I agree with you about the AWD, but Blizzaks are the Sh*T!

I personally have GoodYear GTs (all season).

I would love to go I'm looking forward to actually meeting people this time instead of only being able to eat and leave. Got some new goodyear eagle f1 all seasons, looking to see how they fair in the snow

 

I'm a big maybe. Got a lot of family stuff going on this weekend plus a concert I'm going to Fri night in Ballard.

BTW - ya got me, Eric. I did just pick up all-seasons but probably won't get around to putting them on before the weekend (no point, since we're leaving for Montana anyway).
