It's okay though, because I know what I was saying is correct, they do teach real world scenarios that have become known in the past 25 years (car shutting off while driving, what to do when you run out of gas or when your car overheats, etc.)
I think Ryan's point was, no matter how educated you are, they will not be able to teach a person common sense. Most young drivers lack this heavily in our country because they play Grand Tourismo and thinks this makes them a pro driver in real life. Too bad video games won't teach you a thing about weight transfer.

Haha, agreed on the video game thing, and common sense is pretty much all drivers ed teaches, I really learned a lot, and watching those videos that they show, should be a damn good reason to drive with common sense.

Wow.... simply wow. Your logic is awesome and doesnt flag you as "young" person at all.

Discrediting your own argument in the same post makes for good theater, but poor reading.

The toyota floormat issue came up months ago and has been an issue since (and now recalled). September 2009 is the earliest I can find with 15 seconds invested

And I took drivers training within the past 25 years and they did cover this, and people still arent figuring it out. Times they arent a changin that fast. 1945: carburators in nascar? CHECK. 2010: carburators in nascar? CHECK.

^I count too many asterisks and don't know that word! Let's calm it down gentlemen...and Ryan.

*edit - What you don't know rreij is that Ryan starts getting faced after 2 drinks and will at that point start double-fisting water to "sober up." I'd be careful!

Lol I want to meet the guy, that's all lol, didn't want to make it sound threatening, mostly just wanted to talk about it in person so it didn't seem like anyone had attitude over the intranetz!

With the censored word it is difficult to understand where you're going. I'm sure the self-respecting Croat can hold his own, as long as "his own" is not 3 cocktails.

HA HA!!! I can handle 3 cocktails. it was the three Jameson & Coke that had me beat.

FWIW: If a local member is actually threatening another local member then they better have some pretty darn good reason to do so! (sleeping with somebody's mom, ripped off, stolen parts, damaged car). Aside from reasons such as that, threatening another local member is (IMHO) a good reason for you to "volunteer" to stay out of the local section.

If your so new to the forum and the local scene that you cant figure out who the smack talkers are and who the wallflowers are then you need to:

1) lurk for a while longer
2) grow some thicker skin
3) grow up and relax, this is the internets. Use it to get you laid, not raise your bloodpressure about how lax this countries driving regulations are.

So, rreijnaert09, please clearly define what you meant by the ******* and if its all good then at the next meet (that isnt on a saturday) you can park your EF next to me and we can be friends and i'll show you how to smack-talk and have thicker skin on the interwebs.

B18c5 block/tranny (purchased with zero miles thank you), B16 head, Spoon valvetrain, JUN ecu and stripped. 9,500 rpm never felt so good!

235 wheel hp at 1600lbs wet..... It was a track car. Straight line racing is for namby-pamby girls.
