in the morning i was using auto shifting, but tried one session with manual and was having to change to 3rd right away on the front straight. thinking about this, actually a half day is cheaper than a whole day of autox. 40 minutes of driving(PGP) for $15 more than an event with 8 minutes of driving plus standing around all day to work(auto-x). besides i can only do a half day cause of my SST overheating. and no way id do this in the rain!

Updated https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/no...ar-events.html with April's lapping dates. So far, there aren't any listed after that.

I don't understand why people were just pulling back into their pit area. After your session, just drive the car down to the paddock gate then around to the PR entrance and back.

The one cool down lap you get isn't sufficient as you were saying.

I didn't because I didn't want to load up the hot sticky tires with gravel. But in hind sight, that might have been the right thing to do. I wish they'd pave the driveway.

On the other hand, any asphalt they buy would be put to better use on turns 2 and 8 of Pacific Raceway

Your prayers have already been half answered. They re-paved turn 2 already. It was much over due, but now the turn has tons of grip . I went out for the IRDC track day last month.

Weather.com is saying 40-50% chance of rain all morning. I'm passing on this week. That course would not be any fun in the wet.

I'm looking to go on the 21st. I have the vacation time... new rotors, tires, lines, brake fluid, and pads on the way!

I'll see if I can't bring some of my friends from Bellingham down
