emmissions question

I'm up in WA, and i was wondering if my setup will pass regulations, hks 280s 720cc injectors, full exhaust with high flow cat, and and o2 pipe with external dump, my CEL is on all the time for knock purposes, I'm just wondering if anyone up here in WA area know of a place that would pass regulations on what i got?

you need to have an ecuflash with some of the latest refinements to the obd2.

the test simply checks the ecu for codes, if it reads good you are good. I'd check in with English Racing for the ecuflash flash, although there should be some people local too.

iow, it can be done, although the dump deal is something I have no understanding of. maybe you could put a potato in the dump.

English Racing can take care of this. Our emissions are ran by the state so you can't do the lovely California Bribe to pass up here. ER can not only tune your car for good gains, they can help control the CEL to be more or less functional depending on your view of things. (Mine will flash if knock is detected, much more functional than an emissions tattle tail if you ask me.)

Thanks guys for the help, i just returned from the test and failed, I'll deffinitely check out English Racingand ask for their respected advice. as for the readout. It said, P0420: catalyst system efficieny below threshold bank 1, and P0134: O2 sensor circuit no activity detected bank 1 sensor 1. Im gusessing the p0420 is due to the cams, but not to sure about the p0134, i did change the o2 housing idk why its not working.

It would be the O2 sensor itself, not the housing. And my guess would be it is your second O2 sensor that is throwing the code/s, which ER can remove completely from the ECU's subroutines thus solving your problem
