^Honestly I'd rather buy a GSR and do my own weight savings before buying an RS. Or buy an MR and do my own weight savings, so I have the benefit of alu-min-ium parts. Much less of a pita!
Here is an Oregon car that fits your requirements.

Not sure how a IX MR ended up with the blue seats though.

Hey what's up No Fear =D I actually live over in West Richland. Yes, there are a few EVO owners around here but not many on the forum it seems. As far as looking around for a nice used EVO, you have to just keep your eyes peeled. When you do find one I would recommend having a shop check the cars out before you purchase it. As always Lucas and the guys do a fantastic job and their work speaks for itself, but if your looking for someone close, go check out my boys down at Kaizenspeed. (www.kstuned.com) Reid has been playing with quite a few EVOs as of late and currently has my baby being reassembled. It's been a 9-month journey but she should be a beast when complete. You should drop in and take a look as their fab work and attention to detail speak for themselves. I also believe Reid is one of the great tuners up here in the NW we are lucky to have. BTW if you need any take off parts I sell really cheap. Just about everything listed on the old set-up is for sale. Look forward to meeting you sometime and tell the boys down at Kaizen Scott sent you.
Well, welcome to the Tri-Cities. Progress is moving along on the EVO, but waiting on those final fittings, etc. to get it completely assembled. The big push in the shop right now is to get the H to B (silly Honda kids =D) oil pan out the door to customers. Feel free to stop in anytime. I usually just help out in the shop on my days off (Fridays) but been working a lot of OT lately to fund the parts needed. Removed the rear bumper today (waiting on the JDM rear to come in) and installed the Cusco rear strut & triangle bar. Had a bit of time, so I threw a coat of wax on the Volks (man I love those wheels) and cleaned up the car a bit. BTW, my name is Scott. Look forward to meeting up with ya.

) to keep her getting those metals at autocross
. OP: talk to nick or andy at kaizen if you have any question they are cool guys. They'll probably know someone who is trying to sell their evo too. As for labor/work they are great! I have been doing business with them for about 5 years now including engine building, tuning and just questions or conserns.back on topic: clean low mileage IX for sale in the tri-cities is next to nothing compared to the seattle areas. I suggest making a road trip out of it.
Well now this is a very sticky subject. Yes, you could just assume payments from someone, however the car would still be in the person's name who has the loan along w/ the current lienholder. If you are going this route realize you will may be making the payments but the car will technically be in their name. If you pay the car off guess who gets the title? They do. Now you would definitely have a legal right to the car but I wouldn't want to have to deal w/ a court to get my car. Next would be the issue of having insurance since most banks require full coverage on anything they have a lien on. If the car's not in your name your not going to be able to get insurance on it. Long story short, DO NOT assume a loan just to get out of paying sales tax. Plus guess what, even if everything goes fine and you get the title when the car is paid off, when you go to transfer the title your going to pay sales tax based on current book value. They are going to get you one way or the other. Get your own loan and be done w/ it. IMHO that is.
