Anyone need to be trailered to ER?

I just can't find the time for the next month or so to work on the car. I'd like it sooner than that, assuming I don't need a new bottom end.

Anyway, I'm hoping to share the trailer with someone so we can split the cost. Let me know!

Might be cheaper to bring Aaron to you than to bring the car to them.

Are you too concerned with the problem to drive the car down there? If it's drivable, I know of a driver for hire.

^^LOL @ bringing Aaron to me. It might end up going with a new bottom end (if it is a rod bearing), so while I probably could store a midget for a month or so, I'm not sure it would be any cheaper!

I'm not really sure if it is the top or the bottom and wouldn't want to find out on the way down that it was the bottom (when I throw a rod in the middle of BFE). I suppose I could get under the car with a stethoscope and go from there. It really sounds like the top to me, but I've never had a rod bearing issue so I'm not positive.

If I do end up driving, I'll let ya know, Minh!

Could even rent a Uhaul auto trailer or something like that http://www.uhaul.com/towing/. I know you have a truck that could tow it.

That is sort of an option, but you assume much about my truck towing it!

Well I guess you could rent a truck too. Then drop them off at a Uhaul in Portland and take the train back.

Trailer for sale in the NW marketplace https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/no...your-baby.html

Clearly its kismet.

Says he will deliver it. Maybe you could just pay him to trailer your car to ER.

^lol - that is an idea. If I had my old truck I'd be all over that trailer. Actually, a buddy of mine might want it, or know someone that would want it.

Why don't you take a youtube video of it with some sweet Phil Collins music and we can guess what the problem is. Hell we have a 50/50 chance right?

When i had a rod bearing go, it sounded like it was the top end to me. It was at the drag strip, and everyone was saying it was the top end.... but it wasnt... haha. I had my car trailered 8hrs away, and it was only about 400 or so.

^thanks for the info. I should take a video of it from both the top and bottom. I want to say Luke charges $400 (IIRC) but his trailer can hold two, which is why I want to split with someone.
