Allow myself to introduce myself

Hey everyone,

New guy here from Federal Way, WA. I just picked up a 2006 MR last week from Sea Auto Sales in Shoreline, the car is very clean, one owner, with 36k on the clock. Clean car fax, it was a repossesed in California, and went to auction. Its the graphite gray color, bone stock with the exception of a HKS cai, apexi turbo timer, and a mbc.

I think it has been flashed though it seems pretty stout for 287 fwhp. My plans are to visit English Racing sometime this fall, probably put on a turbo back at the same time, and build it up for STU. It is missing the stock strut tower bar up front, if anyone has one for sale lmk, I would like to get it put back on.

My wife and I have been autocrossing for about 5 years in Bremerton, which is one of the reasons we picked this car up, its pretty amazing right out of the box. I let one of my friends drive it for time only runs last event and he ended up with the 8 th fasted t.o.d. on stock suspension and no name all season tires.

So thought I would check in and slowly get up to speed with you guys, if your interested in autocross hit me up, Im on the board with BSCC and will be chairing the next event, we would love to get more drivers involved.

Thanks
Chris

Welcome and congrats on the the car.
I have been to the Bremerton raceway a few times to drag but have not autocross before.
I am very interested in getting out to participate though.

LOL @ the anti-vultures! I suppose while we're all caw-cawing, I have a 3" intake with K&N filter; the pipe is black, and is ready to go SD (no recirc or MAF) when you head to ER.

welcome to the fam, and definitely get that front strut taken care of! I'd go for Andrew's (F0RSAKEN), or get an aftermarket Ti one and shave some weight + purty up the engine bay!

welcome chris!

since everyone started posting up their stuff, ill post up too!!

i have a 3 inch ss buschur catback w/ the magnaflow muffler in used condition. its paired with a test pipe that bolts on straight to your stock/aftermarket dp. i was going to run the set up but decided to keep my current instead because i dont want unwanted attention from the canadian popo's for having a test pipe.

Hey Chris, welcome to the Evo side. We definitely need more Evos at the Subaru heavy BSCC events. Are you retiring the M Coupe?

I might take just the Magnaflow! Put that sucker in at the test pipe and see how she sounds.
