FS: CarPC Set Up Plug and Play!!

SOLD SOLD SOLD

Hi Guys,

I am selling my CarPC set up.

This includes the following:
- 7 inch Liliput touch screen mounted on the OEM Double Din bezel
- Intel Atom Intel Atom D945GCLF2 Intel® 945GC 1.6Ghz mini motherboard
- M2 ATX PSU power supply
- 2GB RAM
- 60GB HD
- total of 6 usb plugs (4 in the back, 2 in the front)
- currently loaded with windows xp
- i run roadrunner with it with no problems
- usb foldable key board
- usb hub
- wifi wireless internet stick
- Samsung external dvd drive via USB
- harnesses that will work on both non ssl and ssl evo's
- basic amplifier to power up spearks for non ssl evo's
- radio relocation kit to move hvac block to the lower cubby

It's been my ongoing project for now but never had the resources of expanding it. I basically used it for playing songs and videos in the car. It has the ability for HD Radio, internet phone tethering , GPS, ECU flashing, etc etc etc. Its capable of anything a basic computer/laptop could offer. And if you think about it, it is probably more cost effective than getting any double din screen in the market that is limited to radio/music/movies.

You will need to do DIY for a HVAC panel found here:

or here:

Reason for selling: going to Vegas in Oct. Need money to spend at Sapphire.

Now Pics!

thanks guys.

btw, dont get intimidated by the wiring. its very simple if you have the evo with ssl package as it uses the factory amp. if you have a non ssl evo, im including an amp (not pictured here, its tucked away in my storage) that will power up your factory speakers. all you need to to is run a power wire off the battery.

the carpc box is tucked under the passenger seat nicely. you wont even notice its there.

I was really thinking about doing this myself. and here it is for cheaper than I could ever do it for...

How does it handle radio? where would the disc tray get mounted?

I'm seriously considering this!!

yeps, i was in vegas for my buddy's bachelor party. then, we are going again in october with my flip crew.

it is kind of complicated in a way, especially for a guy who just subscribed interwebz in his home...

for radio, you can use your phone for internet tethering and access internet radio. or you can buy this module from mp3car.com:

I just thought about it wen you said tethering but I can plug my phone into it and get FM radio through my phone.

Where does the disc drive go? or is there not one?

How long does it take to boot up after you start the car?

if your phone has a 3.5mm stereo jack, it should work.

it doesnt have a disc drive. i do have an external drive for that though.

it boots up pretty quick when u start up the car. i would say around 30 seconds...
