Another happy ER customer

Well, Im a pretty happy camper for a stock engine and stock turbo'd IX. I think she put down pretty good numbers given the mods. Big thanks to Lucas, Aaron for the tune, and Jake and Jeff for the wrench time and putting up with my BS'n while they were trying to work.

Heres the vids, dyno sheet below:

Second to last pull: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvhApfB3wXs

Final pull: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOrE5xkpjVo

Performance related mods:

- SD conversion
- ARC UICP
- HKS SSQV (recirc'd)
- ETS LICP
- Intake and K&N filter
- Buschur MBC
- Buschur O2 housing
- Buschur 3" DP, TP, and catback
- Walbro 255lph

Final pull was at 26psi, pump gas ofcourse.

BTW Aaron, Ill be posting on your challenge thread shortly. SD is one of the best bang for your buck mods for sure.

Thanks guys, I really wanna shoot for the 400whp range so I think Im gonna try an FMIC and see what the number difference is. Not expecting 400whp with just that, but it'll give me an idea of how much farther I need to go. After that, Ill consider either a turbo upgrade or possibly consider E85.

Great numbers buddy! I hope to get tuned in the summer, I want to have all my ducks in a row before I have Aaron tune my car.

D,

Glad to hear that we lived up to your expectations.

I'll be calling in a bit to check up on the car too.

Derek - talk to Aaron about cams during your next batch of upgrades too. Keep in mind where you are with the IX and where you want to be going forward with a new turbo so you don't end up buying two sets of cams.

Thanks again, Aaron. Finally a pleasure meeting and talking with you. Definitly the most entertaining dyno session Ive had.

Will do! Aaron actually mentioned that I should leave the cams alone. He seems to think I have one of the few "freak motors" out there and should retort to a turbo upgrade before cams or any head work. Unike some people he's given advise to, Ill listen. Gonna get an FMIC and see what she puts down after that still on stock turbo and engine. Then we'll go from there.

BTW, I want your W.W.J.B.D. sticker.

Derek,

I didn't even put it together which member you were... I was scattered brain from working all day. Good meeting you yesterday even though it was brief! Hope you made it home quickly with all the crazy traffic.
