Will do! Aaron actually mentioned that I should leave the cams alone. He seems to think I have one of the few "freak motors" out there and should retort to a turbo upgrade before cams or any head work. Unike some people he's given advise to, Ill listen. Gonna get an FMIC and see what she puts down after that still on stock turbo and engine. Then we'll go from there.

BTW, I want your W.W.J.B.D. sticker.
I have a generally "freak" car. everything seems to go TU even though I treat her well.

the WWJBD is just a custom made decal, if you can find someone to do that work for you.

Derek, Congrats on the tune and being apart of the SD brotherhood

You should upgrade your turbo for a Black! Pretty good bang for the buck if you ask me. I think a ETS 4" and FP Black should be your next mods. Aaron should be able to get you well into the 400s with those two mods alone.

Congrats again and it was good to meet you last week. Keep in touch and let me know the progress on your car buddy.

Great numbers for your mods, Derek! ER owns tuning with SD!

I think I'm one of the few who has an upgraded turbo and stock cams. You'll get close to 400whp with a turbo and FMIC. I'd recommend an HTA green, BBK, or the new HKS BB.

I'll have to go on a ride with you to check out all this hoopla about the smoothness of Speed Density.

Hey Mike! Yeah I know, its great to finally meet you after all the communication back and forth over the years over POS, Tuners, etc... You're not longer Lyfeworx, you're Michael from ETS!

Damn, I was hoping Aaron would have a stockpile of those sitting around. BTW, I followed you a good portion from Kent Station to Alki last weekend. Trust me, your car rips.

Thanks Mikey! Its a great brotherhood to be a part of. Now I see what the hype is about. Definitly considering a turbo upgrade. A black sounds nice, but I need to look into the powerband people are posting of Blacks on 2.0L's. I dont plan on going stroker or 2.4L anytime soon and I want to retain a quick spooling turbo that makes good power and performs well on all aspects (street, strip, track). Just a great balanced car is what Im looking for with lots of usable power throughout.

Great to meet you too, take care of yourself in VA and stay in touch!

Thanks John, and good to see you again today. Thanks again for coming out as always. You have an upgraded turbo? I had no idea. I've looked into the HTA Green which looks promising and is proven. I still have yet to look into the BBK, and I was interested in the HKS BB until a certain tuner told me to look elsewhere.

Woulda gave you a ride today, but I'll save it till after I change my plugs. I think driving around untuned slightly fouled em' up.

haha, thanks Derek. She rips for sure, and if she stays together it is a bonus!

BTW - here is my thread when I jumped from the Red to the Black. Aaron did the tuning (of course) and we got as close to apples to apples as possible. I was running meth then, but the comparison was done on an extremely conservative tune to take into account people that couldn't run anything other than 91 octane.

At the time of the switch, I was still running Cosworth M2s, but have since moved to the GSC S2s. Also, I had a Magnus intake mani installed then as well, along with an FMIC (ETS 3.5") but all other mods were close to where you are now. Let me know if you have any questions.
