Looking at this Evo...

Does anyone know about it?

http://www.acuraofseattle.com/seattl...bishi~Model_/2

I'm just a *little* leary of the fact that it says it's an MR when it's obviously a GSR with the SSL package and they say that it's "stock" yet it has an aftermarket gauge on the steering column, and who knows what else is under the hood, etc. I'm reluctant, as I am not a huge fan of SSL, but I'm just looking around to see what's out there, etc. If anyone knows about this car or has any input, that would be great.

Trevor

Why arent you looking in the local for sale section and EvoM marketplace first?

Saving $3,000 on a evo from the forum is worth the $300 flight and $200 in gas to fly out and buy a car.

I go up to Seattle here and there, so I wouldn't be spending $200 on a plane ticket, would probably go up with a friend who has a company car and pays nothing for gas... but yeah, I agree with RAPE, haha. But yeah, in my search for Evos as of late, it seems like there's a wider selection up in the Seattle area and since it's not super inconvenient for me, I'm looking there too.

He meant that you might as well spend some money on a plane ticket and gas to purchase a car somewhere else in the country. I agree with this. Find a car within 1,000 miles that is for sale by a reputable member of the forums. Get yourself a plane ticket and have a fun drive home. It'll cost a little more than buying local, but is worth it.

On the real, if you have $21ish to spend you'll be able to find something really nice if you are willing to wait. I'd say for that price you can find yourself a IX with 50-60k in really good shape.
