Thats exactly what happened to me. My insurance card expired and I didn't have the new one with me. I got lucky he let me off with a warning.

 

That sucks... I Bought my Evo in FL. The dealer only gave me one plate.. Never had an issue.

Now NJ is a whole different story!!! Especially seaside nj!!!
My truck is reg. In NJ and my plate is in the window only got pulled over in seaside for it...

 

my $250 "bright turn signal" "fix-it" ticket was reduced to only $100.

In WA there is no official "fix-it" ticket.

 

I have 11 no front tickets out of auburn from back in high school when I really didn't give a shi* but now I look back and there's no way I run around now without one. Yes it looks much cleaner without the plate but I learned a big lesson and there's no way im gonna bother getting hassled all the time especially when bothell/mill creek/everett/lynnwood are just as bad as auburn. If we all drove mini vans we'd never get hassled for having no front plate. It's just a reason to find other things illegal on a car like a evo. Just get a plate that says something funny so you don't mind having it lol
