That MR looks pretty nice. Good price too dependant upon mileage.

Stay away from that "dealership" in general, most are beat-on cars and salvage titles

I can send you some dirty pics of the Evo today if you're just wanting to make sure its real but Its "real" dirty right now. Itll clean up just fine, but I just need to do it. It really needs a full detailing though (claybar, cutting, polishing, etc). I was just planning on doing it closer to summer time when the weather is warmer.

If I wash it up though, I'm putting in on craigslist for 20k firm. I doubt their are many ~40k Evo IX's for less, and this one is pretty mild on the mods.

I'd get a VIN and check that one

It's got an ACD cluster which the 03's didn't have which means the miles aren't correct. There was some deal on here recently talking about how mileage discrepancies (even if the new cluster has the same miles) can result in bad titles

might be handy for you, it's something i made when I was looking for a car as well. search term is same as craigslist, 'evolution' or 'evo' in your case (always search for both, my car was only listed under evo which was probably part of the reason i found it and it was still available a week later), min and max are price and can be left blank if you don't want to set a min or max price. it lists all the locations in washington, idaho, oregon, montana, and northern cali. makes it much easier to browse all those locations rather than having to remember each major city and URL change and all that

saw that one yesterday, looks decent but the thing that confuses/turns me off is the sunroof with no leather interior. as far as i'm aware, sunroof was only available with the SSL package. it's also been lowered, but that's not a terrible thing. lip also looks kinda like it's missing.

it'd be worth calling and asking about the sub in the trunk, if it has that you know it's an SSL package but missing the leather interior (owner either sold which is unlikely, or it was stolen and not reported to insurance at some point). if you do call let us know what they say. clean carfax is always good, but it doesnt guarantee nothing happened to the car ever

that is the most important line right there. people (including myself) sometimes forget that just cause it has a clean carfax doesnt mean nothing has happend to the car. also just so everyone knows i no longer need to buy one from a dealer cause things have dramatically changed so i am open to private sellers so this should blow the gates wide open.
