Its a Wrap

Jake @ guardline wanted to wrap a EVO in his new MATTE film so i was the lucky canidate to get the wrap.

He changed my carbon wrap on my hood roof and trunk with his new film. And is starting my matte black wrap on the rest of the car. Its about 75% done will update with more pix when its all complete

One thing i really like about the matte film it hides door dings really well.

looks sick, i love matte black.

only thing i dont like is how different the light reflection is in the pics, doesn't do it justice because it makes the front fender and the passenger door look way off-color of eachother

since he changed the CF and such i'm guessing this stuff is pretty easy to remove? won't it risk damaging paint with it or anything?

2nd! I really wanted to wrap my e46 M3 and have been toying with the idea for my Evo. I heard between $2-4k from some shops in Cali but never got a price from a local shop.

Opps, nevermind....went to GuardLine's Facebook page: "Complete Wrap prices start at $1899.00"

if they offer any sort of warranty with this (*lifetime would be sick...*) then a wrap would be a pretty solid way to go if you ever need to repaint and depending on the colors they have available

5 year. I wish it was lifetime. But 5 year is still pretty good

Did they put any form of laminate over the vinyl? I have heard that it greatly increases the lifespan.

any other matte colors? Matte gray, blue, red, etc.? Are you going to be at the meet tomorrow Sean? Looks pretty good in pix and I'd like to see it in person!

If they have a matte blue similar to the lambo color I might be tempted.

I was thinking maybe that "shark skin" that I think is available for the M3 (or maybe 3-series in general?)

I was quoted around $1900 for a Lambo Reventon-gray full wrap by a shop called Decal FX in Los Angeles.
