Wing clear coat?

Hey guys,

Just curious, the clear coat on my wing is peeling off on the right side, and I wonder if theres a shop that anyone would recommend for me to get it redone at. I know there's guides on here to do it myself but I don't really trust myself to do it. So if there's anywhere you guys would know of that could do it, or maybe one of you, let me know!

Thanks,

Rhys

Mine is doing the same thing. I was thinking about getting the center CF portion wrapped by Guardline.

i wrapped the center portion of the wing in gloss black vinyl. it does a decent job of hiding the cracked clear coat

I can attest from personal experience that Bell-Red auto rebuild (next to the bellevue discount tire) will do a ****ty job and overcharge you.

Hope that helps the OP.

Thanks guys. Bel Kirk is local for me so I'll swing by sometime soon to see what they can do. I thought about Guardline, I got my hood wrapped from them and it's phenomenal, but I don't see the point of covering up real CF with a wrap. And I said the right side, I don't mean the top surface I meant the area right by where the wing connects to the trunk.

There are great DIY guides on here that show different ways that guys stripped down & recleared their wings. I'm contemplating redoing mine myself. Had a shop do it once before, but the clearcoat cancer is back.. I'm just not too excited about rockin' the wingless look while I'm working on the spoiler though..

I've been to Guardline a few times for some stuff, I love their work. I'm going to get my roof/trunk wrapped too, when I go back I guess I'll have them do the wing as well.

I'm with Ryan on this - Bell-Red did my wing and didn't even sand it properly - re-cleared it and charged me for a horrible job they said was the best they could do. Now my deck lid is in faded 3D. Just what I've always wanted.

Considering getting my deck and sides wrapped instead.
