English Racing for sure! One of our members had a total stock 2008 X and did a tune w/ Aaron @ English Racing and made 307awhp @ 27 psi on 92oct!
So make sure to keep us updated on your return, and hopefully by the time your back, there will be a dyno day held around your arrival

I just wish English tuned subi's... I'm having a hard time finding a good tuner for my sister's STi, there are a ton of them around but they're all mediocre. The only good tuner in the NW is Tim Bailey, but he only tunes Cobb AP, doesn't do open source...
Isnt that Outback place pretty decent? Used to be in Auburn, dunno where theyre at now.

decent sure, but when it comes to tuning, decent isn't enough imo

they do good work though and have great prices, they did the clutch install on my car, and some random suspension stuff on the STi. but I don't have any tuning experience with them. It was gonna be the next place I try, but now that I know English tunes Subies also I'll just go to them.

They moved, but still in Auburn, right next to where Drift Office's old shop was, they use DO's dyno for tuning...

Good to hear English racing does AP tunes. I just bought an AP and want to utilize once I get a pro tune. To think I was going to drive right by English Racing and go to Surgeline in Portland to get an AP tune.

Where and when do you do dyno days in Kent. I live out in Enumclaw and would like to drive down.

^they do dyno days at the Drift Office in Auburn; usually once every 3 months or so, but depending on demand. Sounds like some demand is popping up, so maybe the boys will be up soon?

I hear you on that one. I've been wanting to do a small turbo upgrade with the Wagon.

PIA in Tacoma is a great shop (from what I've seen so far) and Tim goes there monthly. But I have an AP that I got from the original owner because it didn't seem like there were a bunch elsewhere to turn to.

I just hit up Aaron to see if they were doing Subie's yet or not.
Tim B charges quite an amount for tunes with AP (somewhere around $400 I think).
ER and Aaron have always been affordable and stand by the tunes....even if there is a little issues that they are working on to perfect. Not to say that Tim B won't either, just never had to go there just yet.

I"ve got a 2011 MR and English Racing gave me a tune on my drive home from the dealer in Seattle on my way to Portland. I went from 256 to 307 at the wheels. Best price/performance mod in my book. I also take my Evo8 RS to English Racing and they work magic with it. I road race so I'm more interesetd in my engine surviving 30 minutes of torture. If you drag race, these are the only guys within several tanks of gas of driving to take your car.

There are many perks to living in the Northwest. English Racing is one of them
