Just picked up this 08 GSR, thought I'd see who else is around me. Pretty fun car, can't wait to see some real drive time. Sadly I bought it last night and have to fly to LA tomorrow.

Can't complain though, racing the Baja 1000 is a good excuse to missing out on driving your new EVO.

I just so happened to hear about this purchase from a co-worker this morning only to stumble upon this thread an hour or so later...congrats.

 

I was looking at that car. What'd you end up paying for it? Seemed pretty nice to me. Didn't like the CF interior pieces or taillight covers, but those are easily removable.

 

Im a portland guy, mostly hang out with old dsmer friends or mazdaspeed guys. Come out to cobb tuning first thursday if you want to hang out. Im usually there cause its only a mile from my house.

 

Like I said above I looked at that car, also test drove it. It felt like it probably hasn't been tuned, or at least not tuned right, so your first stop should be ER's dyno to have Aaron or Lucas work their magic.

I'll be up to ER once I get home. Busy in Mexico right now, been pre-running the Baja 1000 and racing starts Friday.

the original owner is from eugene he had it on craigslist for a while.
