Loud pop
Loud pop
It only happens when the car has sat for about 2-3 hours in snowy/icy conditions. This noise occurs when I put it into gear and let the clutch out. The car feels like is frozen to the ground so I have to give it a bit more gas. When I do so, it makes a loud pop and then goes like nothing ever happened.
I'm guessing that the exhaust melts snow under the car and it drips on the rear diff or even the brakes and freezes. Anyone got any other ideas why?
I've searched around but I can't really describe it any better to get good results from search engine. Any input is greatly appreciated

Same thing happens to me every time I bring it back into the garage after a snowy drive and let it sit. When I try backing out it makes the pop, pretty sure it's just the snow/ice freezing
It's from using your ebrake in freezing weather. Your brakes are freezing to the rotors. In the winter you shouldn't set your ebrake in freezing conditions, this is an OLD common problem.
