Is Walker Mitsubishi as stupid as they seem?
Is Walker Mitsubishi as stupid as they seem?
Been going back and forth on the phone with them about an '04 Evo. They won't budge from $100 OVER MSRP even though I've told them I've got a dealer willing ot do about $2000 less. Worse, they wouldn't talk about lowering their price "unless I came in." Why would I want to waste my time doing that?
Some people just don't get it.

They probably think you are bsing. If you really have that offer and you already have financing, I would walk in to Walker and show them the check then tell them the offer you have. If they say no walk out and go buy from the other dealer. Most dealers won'tlet you get to far before they really rethink their stance.
They think they hold all the cards. They won't let you test drive a car until all the paperwork is worked out and a price is agreed upon by both, this is for the STI's at the sub store as well. I had a deal in the works with them for MSRP, but not $2k below, that's nuts. Go with the other option.

walker mitubishi may be bad, but dont even waste your time with dick hannah in vancouver. biggest 6 hour waste of my life. told me they would do my deal for invoice. tonight only type thing. so my wife and i load up, and take the trip into vancouver, from seaside. about 2 hour drive time. time i get there deal seems to be off, and they didnt even have the car, some punk sales kid was gonna go get it from seattle. we bailed after about an hour of bs. made for a horrible night, and all they said was sorry and gave me a gas voucher. i got my new evo, next day in beaverton at premier. still mad about it though.
