I have a red pair sitting in my garage. I opted to just paint mine the factory color. I hate the reflector on the bumper. I didn't think the light was going to give the vehicle the clean look I wanted.

How did I miss this?
Looks quite good.

Can't tell exactly from the photo, how did you mount these LEDs?

Has any of you have tried to buy the bar here http://www.ultraracing.my/catalog/in...oller=category

I requested a quote and bar are cheap (around 70 bucks) but the shipping is close to $200 with DHL.

Will be worth investing?

You really think a $270 strut tower bar is going to be better than a $30 strut tower bar on your SUV??? If it were a race car, sure, but really what is the probability of you ever pushing your Outlander so hard that the eBay bar posted above won't be sufficient.

There is no OEM bar lol. The one we're all buying is aftermarket. So now, again, I have to ask how often do you pop your hood that it's worth an extra $240?

Would you $240 for an engine cover?

IMO, buy the $30 strut bar and paint it any color that you'd like. It would look better painted, that's for sure.

I'm about as anti-eBay parts as they come but it's true that these will never exceed the limits of the $30 bar. $240+ bar is better but that's only until about 1-2 seconds before you're upside down. I would rather spend $30 on the bar and then the rest on coilovers. I hear the regular outlander full coilover kits fit with no problem. I say as far as body roll the only mod needed is the strut bar. Everything else is overkill and well beyond the needs of a SUV which would probably flip when pushed hard.

Do you have the other set still? If so, PM me, I might take it off your hands for ya.

I do have them but install looks as if you will have to remove the bumper as there isn't much room to remove the stock one and install these. You would have to have super thin arms to pull it off. Might want to check out the gap and see if you think it's possible before I sell them to you. I would hate for you to not be able to install it. No one likes removing bumpers. Suggestion: paint the reflector factory color. Touchup paint online color matches by paint code. Mine matched perfectly. You will have to either get base and clear or 2 in 1. It's a rattle can but matches exactly. Little pricey but mine is 100% color match(grey I'd hard to match so I was really surprised)

I just received my strut bar today. But it wasn't the Ralliart Lancer strut I ordered. They sent me one for a EVOX. After a refund and they let me keep the bar. I Decided to just install the evo x strut. And it fits without any hassle. no drilling nada.. will post pics soon.

Just installed the strut bar. Feeling stiffer and a bit less roll in the turn. Nice mod, no heavy as well.

Anyone have any input on installing this EVOX strut Bar on a 2013 RVR? As well, would any bar from a regular lancer or RA fit? If so the Whiteline bar is adjustable and has a quick release.
