Trunk light upgraded:

This was used:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/390600198951...84.m1439.l2649
This specific directional light is a hit or miss. depending what side the positive or negative would be welded on. of course i was one to get the positive on the side that made the light face the wheel well. however with some slight modification i was able to get more light than i orginially started with. I will be doing a bit more research and seeing if i can modify the positive/negative plug in order to swap sides. I will post my findings.

Added a yellow vinyl overlay to the fogs.
The clear lens with yellow hue from the nokya bulbs had me cravig a full yellow on a daily.
this looks so much better as an end/finished product

I did this a little while back since I wrap headlights and taillights I just used some of my yellow film. I also have 3k hids in my fogs as well!
I love the way the Yellow compliments the white also adds a little bit of protection to the lenses, I may wrap my LED DRLs and one of them is already cracked from a rock.... not happy about it!

So on the schedule this past weekend was suppose to be my megan springs being installed. Of course.. a speed bump was thrown in the plans as a good friend who has a spring compressor decidied to do his suspension.. (not such a good friend after all) so it was postponed until next weekend! sooo not happy about it.
Saturday was filled with some dipping and tinting. I got around to dip my emblems black and add a red vinyl overlay to the emblem. In addition to dipping my reflectors in the bumper. Both came out really well.

Nah I'm down in MD. Emblem looks good and reflectors I have been debating on wrapping them in smoked so they still reflect but wont be red.
Also I may wrap my taillights in smoked. I'm very up in the air about it though.

Now for the few good vinyl wrappers out there worldwide. Goodness... you should be praised and thankful for your God given talents.. because the amount of patience and tecnique not to mention the few moments when you have to use your neck shoulder and a third hand is an amazing talent. The prices you charge are no longer seen as outrageoues... as you deserve every singel dollar when fdoing complexed pieces.
with that said.. Ive always adimired the Carbon Kevlar black gold carbon fiber. I ended up finding some vinyl and was worth the try as it looked near to it and from what i remember the few times i saw it person. first mirror cover took about an hour and a half. second mirror about 30 maybe 40 mins tops. And than the spoiler what a royal pain in the A$$. My Goodness... I may have spent easily 5 hours trying to wrap it. end result was ripping the entire vinyl off after being so fustrated. I still have enough for a retry.. and will see if i attempt again when my nail attached to the skin again from thumb and pointer.
Just accidently deleted one of the side mirror pics. lol. will edit the post later.

Thank you.
I highly suggest removing covers if anyone plans on doing it in near future; its a much better end result and dont run the risk of edges lifting.
Intially the spoiler was removed; but it is lighter than expected and between heating stretching and using sqweegie i needed to reattach to get some leverage. End result was a fail, as i just couldnt stretch enough and vinyl was getting detroyed. Frustration kicked in and won the battle. I will be attempting again. I believe that instead of starting from the top of spoiler if you set the underside first and pull over the top thestretch and heating process may work much better.

Thank you.
The carbon kevlar look from a distance looks bronze or as my fiancee calls it Brown, so there is definitely a contrast.
The black carbon vinyls out there on the market 3d's and 4d's have a textured gloss/satin finish and at the right angle i think can be seen from a distance its not just black spoiler.
There will definitely be a contrast with even a dark tint to Black vinyl as the carbon vinyl as they dont get as glossy as a glass will be; so the contrast will be in finish rather than color.
here is a practive shot on an ipad before i did the car. the colors can be seen up close.
